As my muscles twist, Taking my breath away, I scream with pain. My eyes swell up with tears, Falling down my face in streams. It feels like someone has given me a Chinese burn, In the intimate parts of my being. It hurts when I move, It hurts when I don’t. Just a throbbing complaint, Never-ending. Pulse of agony runs through me, As my heart beats. Relief is momentary Lasting only minutes or seconds. I can’t hold back the tears, I just let them flow.

A big round face in the cover of night, Half-hidden in a shroud of black. She looks down on the slumbering land, Silently keeping us safe.
She gives off waves of power, Her awesome might extended. Internal spirits burst out of shells, And dance over duvets of sleep.
Soon she will fade into the background, Giving way to her sister’s. Whether waxing or waning, She will return to see us again.
